The RollEase Workroom System is the sleek, smooth way to raise grass,
woven wood, Roman, Balloon, Austrian, folding screen shades, and all other
bottom-up soft treatments.The manually-operated mechanism raises shades
evenly, without piles of cords. With today's heavier shades, the 3-to-1
mechanical lifting advantage makes specifying the RollEase Operating System
now more important than ever. By simply pulling on either side of a control
cord or bead chain, the operator can quickly and precisely position any
shade that weighs up to 30 pounds (14 kg). Left-hand or right-hand control
can be specified.
How it works
Our patented clutch mechanism allows you to raise or lower the shade
by pulling on either side of the control cord. This releases the clutch,
allowing smooth and easy repositioning of the shade. The clutch holds the
shade securely in place when the cord is released. The RollEase system keeps
shades hanging level by wrapping individual lift cords around a rotating
shaft.

Workroom System Spear Retainer - Better Fit for Spears
The Workroom System Spear Retainer has been modified with improved hooks to better lock on spears. Also, a rim around the rear portion has been added to prevent spears from inserting too far and also reduces the likelihood of fabric threads being caught.
The Workroom System Drive Disk has been modified in appearance only, two holes that no longer are used have been filled in. (Holes previously used when drive disk also doubled as a shaft connector, a separate shaft connector now exists).
Improved parts are now shipping.

New: A Roller Roman Shade uses
traditional roller shade components except, rather than rolling fabric onto
a tube, a Roller Roman wraps lift line onto the tube or ribbon-tape or lift
line onto a spool. The lift line is guided through rings sewn to the Roman
Shade to the bottom where it is tied off. The new patent pending RollEase
