GALAXYTM SERIES

New, patented internal rotating and orbiting planetary gear system makes operation feel much, much smoother. The next generation of roller shade clutches. United States Patent: 6,685,592

PRODUCT OVERVIEW:

Galaxy clutches feature RollEase's patented "Velvetrol®" spring system, the smoothest clutch operating system available today. Components are made of specially selected, engineering grade resins manufactured to strict tolerances to ensure optimal performance in your application. All Galaxy clutches have the same compact, sleek appearance and outside dimensions, allowing you to have a consistent look on any size shade. Best of all, they are all backed by RollEase's 24 years of experience building quality, roller shade clutches.

G-100: The G-100 uses high performance Nylon® and our Vevetrol®, multi-spring system to lift shades up to 16 pounds on a 1 12" tube. (This clutch has no internal gearing)

G-200: The G-200 uses RollEase's patented* planetary gear and clutch combination to greatly reduce the pull force needed to lift a shade.

On a 96" x 144" Phifer® 4400 shade, the pull force is cut by nearly 30% when compared to the G-100 (see chart). The components are made of a combination Teflon® and glass filled Nylon®, polycarbonate and thermopolymers to ensure the ultimate in smoothness. The G-200 works with shades up to 24 pounds on a 1 12" tube and 18 pounds on a 2" tube.

G-300: The G-300 combines the Geared G-200 with RollEase's unique spring assist lift system. Use our copyrighted software to build shades weighing up to 30 pounds that only require a consistent 6-7 pounds of pull force to lift. The G-300 is the perfect choice whenever your customer demands the ultimate in easy lifting and a great alternative to costly motors.

G-400: The NEW G-400 uses RollEase's patented* planetary gear and clutch combination to greatly reduce the pull force needed to lift a shade up to 53 lbs (23,85 kgs). It's another a great alternative to costly motors.

G-400 minimum holding torque:

Pull forces to raise the shade at it's heaviest point (shade fuly down) on a 20 lb (9 kgs) shade on 2.5 inch (63.5 mm) tube, pull force = 9.0 lbs. (4,05 kgs)
